1. Who operates Decadial

Decadial is an independently developed iPhone application. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@decadial.app.

2. Data collection

Decadial does not collect data from the app and does not send app data to the developer or to third-party servers. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, external accounts, or cloud databases in the app.

3. Contacts permission

Contacts access is optional and is requested only after you choose to connect contacts. Depending on the permission you grant, Decadial may read the following fields from approved contacts:

• Given name, family name, or organization name
• Phone numbers and their labels
• Contact thumbnail image
• Apple’s internal contact identifier

This information is used on your device to display contacts, perform name, number, and T9 matching, show contact suggestions, and associate favorites or locally stored recent numbers with a name. Contact information is not transmitted off your device.

You can use manual dialing without granting Contacts access. You can change or revoke permission at any time in iPhone Settings.

4. Information stored on your device

Decadial stores the following information locally:

• Up to 80 numbers initiated from Decadial, with date and any matching contact name
• Phone numbers marked or automatically promoted as favorites
• Dial speed, sound, and haptic preferences
• Whether onboarding and the dialing tutorial have been viewed

This data is stored using Apple’s local UserDefaults system. It is not synchronized by Decadial and is not accessible to the developer. You can clear recent numbers inside the app. Removing Decadial from your device removes the app’s locally stored data in accordance with iOS behavior.

5. Phone calls

When you tap Call, Decadial uses Apple’s standard tel: mechanism to pass the entered phone number to iOS. The iPhone Phone experience and your carrier handle the call. Decadial does not record call audio, listen to calls, collect call duration, or read the iPhone system call history.

6. Required-reason API

Decadial uses the UserDefaults API solely to read and write preferences and app-specific information described above. This use is declared in the app’s Apple privacy manifest.

7. Children’s privacy

Decadial does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no app data is transmitted to the developer, Decadial does not maintain user profiles for children or adults.

8. Data sharing, sale, and retention

Decadial does not share or sell personal data. The developer does not retain app data because the app does not transmit it. Local information remains on your device until you clear it or remove the app.

9. Security

Decadial relies on iOS application sandboxing and Apple’s permission system to protect local information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple Account.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Decadial’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published. Material changes will be reflected in the app or its App Store listing when appropriate.
